I told you when I made the detox soup that there would probably be at least one smoothie in the near future. Yep, a cold drink in winter, but this Gingered Cantaloupe Smoothie is just so good that I can’t resist it anytime of the year. I mean, ginger and cantaloupe compliment each other perfectly, and this really does taste like it might be ice cream.
This recipe makes enough for four smoothies, but you can easily half it or fourth it if you only want one or two. It is super quick and easy to make, but you do have to plan ahead a bit because the cantaloupe needs to be frozen. I put mine in the freezer the night before, and it was ready to go in the morning.
